Real Ultimate Power - for the ninja-lover in all of us.   I read this site and darn near wet my pants everytime.

If you want to see what bittersweet looks like, check out this guy's artwork at Exploding Dog.com. I know, it sounds all wrong, but I promise you, it's really wonderful. Essentially, random people send this guy phrases and he draws what he feels from it. It's something.

With the recent implosion of The Vet, I found myself looking around for other implosion footage. And hey, look what I found! Implosion World! (Man, there really is something for everybody.) Check out their "recent projects" page for some really neat photos.

Speaking of the Vet Implosion, there's also the Low Budget version. The Low Budget Show is a cable-access show based in North Carolina, and it absolutely slays me. Ya gotta check out their website for snippets of their shows, especially the "White Trash Moment." Very nice. (Read up, Tim Qualls! Your website should be this cool!)

Homestar Runner can cheer up the bleariest days-- it is instant gladness. Make sure you submit an email to StrongBad-- he might just respond, and better yet, maybe he'll make up a song about you. (If you can possibly control yourself from dancing when you play the previous link, you might want to make sure you're not dead.)   Also, you need to watch The Ballad of The Sneak, 1936's #1 Summer Jam. (Sung by DaVinci's Notebook!)

So, apparently Price Waterhouse Cooper is changing their company name to "Monday" (how stupid is that?). So, to introduce their new brand name, they registered www.introducingmonday.com. However, they forgot to register http://www.introducingmonday.co.uk/. You need sound to appreciate this. (It's a short thing, so choose this if you don't have much time to invest, yo.)

What? You want to be directed to a site that you will never leave, that will make you unproductive for the rest of your life and will leave you in heavy withdrawal when you're not near it? Okay then... go to Sodaplay, I'm sure it was designed to let bored people design little crawlie things and watch them move... however, I have more fun looking at other people's creations, then grabbing a hold of a leg joint and flinging the object against a wall and watching it flail.   Trust me... It'll all make sense after you go there.   (Click "Sodaconstructor" and then select "click here to play.")

Jeff Bridges' website is a really beautiful thing.

Instead of the lame-o mailers that are floating around, I use Pegasus Mail, which is the best mailer on the planet, IMHO.  Best of all, it's totally free. Honest! Really free! It doesn't yell at you every 30 days or anything! It doesn't blast advertising at you, either. And best of all, hackers dont seem to write viruses for it. Get rid of lame-o Outlook, you lemming! Use it and be glad.

Boutell.com is chock-full of awesome software. Support him. His stuff doesn't stink. In the meantime, download this totally free internet paranoia app called Trackless... it's like Super Colon Blow for IE, and I'm telling you, all traces of your internet history are GONE after using this bad boy. You'll feel good.

When your toilet is overflowing...

When you have a dilemma and only a grandparent can give you a wise answer. They really do respond.

tchotchkes (pronounced "CHOCH-keys" for the Yiddish-ly impaired-- it means "doodads." For our purposes, it's where I like to shop online.)

If the blather on my web site makes sense to you, you probably have a slightly warped mind-- which is a good thing!  You'll definitely enjoy browsing (and buying!) the cool-o-matic toys and doo-dads on the All Things Weird and Wonderful Web Store which is run by my weird & wonderful friend Sue Wolfson!  Great gifts and goodies, and she's got great prices. I'm a fan of their Washy Squashy Soap.

Need an understated, classy gift? Go to Red Envelope. Can't go wrong. Make sure you pay the extra few bucks to get your stuff shipped in the red box... they're beautiful.

For cheap PC components when you know specifically what you're looking for, go to PriceWatch.com. Hard drives for $49.00. Can't beat it.

If you don't have a Trader Joe's by you and you need great salsa, then order online from Salsa de Rosa. Yummmmmmmmmmmm!

If you're a chick and need great bicycling gear, go to Team Estrogen. The website is very intuitive, gives you precisely the info you need, too. (I just bought a pair of SheBeest Pedal Pushers with extra girlie-bits padding. These things are magic.)

More to come...
