Okay then!

Anyhoo, last week I went to my surgeon for my three-month checkup (though it's closer to 4 months, but who's counting). He was really happy with my progress, and also with my bloodwork. Since they did so much rearranging of my plumbing, there was a fear that I might have some vitamin or protein deficiencies; but alas, I have none to speak of. This is GREAT news!

I feel really great. I can't even fathom how much better I feel in just a few short months. It's unreal.

Anyway, tonight I was bored, so I stole Jeremy's digital camera, and a friend of mine and I took pictures of each other (no, not naughty pictures, you slob). I'll post some of them after I wake up a bit. It is almost 2:00am after all.

Oh, and hey-- remind me to tell you about the AMAZING few weekends I had... it was like an Arizona reunion. My amazing pal Mark came out to visit during the last 2 weekends in June, and Jeff and Debbie came down to Smellaware for July 4th weekend. It was way cool seeing them, but of course, horribly traumatic once they left.

Why did I leave Arizona again?

Actually, I'm SERIOUSLY considering moving back... I can't believe I'm saying that, really. But I'm tired of wishing I was somewhere else all the time, and my heart really is out in Arizona. I'm looking into telecommuting jobs so I could theoretically live anywhere; so mayhaps that might help me snowbird a little. We'll see.

It turns out that I'm going to be in Arizona over Labor Day weekend-- so I figure I'll use that time to scope out houses. I looked on realtor.com and noticed that you can buy a brand new house in Mesa for $135K. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

Anyway, I'll keep you posted.

Night!
